Maker Thursday? It sure is!

Maker Thursday is in full effect!

Let's review what a Makerspace is:

My good friend Mrs. Figlioli in Pennsylvania wrote a story about Makerspaces! 
It's called Miss Makey and the Magic Bin. 

I am thrilled to show you a video of Mrs. Figlioli herself, reading this fantastic book to you.

Now- Take a look at your challenge 


Take a look at some examples of what kids invented after they read Ms. Makey and the Magic Bin:


It's your turn to make your own Magic Bin and turn your house into a Makerspace! Have a parent help you gather materials that you could use to build an invention of your choice. Clean out the garage, or the laundry room. Clean your closet, or help clean out your parents car. I am sure you'll be able to gather trash that can be turned in to TREASURE!

 YOUR INVENTION CAN BE WHATEVER THEME YOU'D LIKE IT TO BE!
CREATE ANYTHING OF YOUR CHOICE!

Take the weekend to build your inventions. Send us a picture on Remind 101 of your final product along with the name of your invention and the problem it solves. 

We can't WAIT to see how creative you can get with Maker Thursday right in your living room :)
