  1. I say no because like christopher said that girl had an illness so she has to miss out on those rewards.also what if you are moving to a new school and that school you are moving to does that you are probrably gonna miss out on the new schools reward because you moved there during the year.another thing is that what if you have been trying to go to the school reward and then there is a family emergency.also what if you live kinda far from your school because you moved houses and you are late to scool and you have been trying to go to that school reward then you cant.that is my opinion.

  2. I think students should not get rewarded for perfect attendance because like Christopher said sick kids would get encouraged to go to school and would spread the sickness. Also the student could have a family emergency, and are forced not to go to school . Schools could give out prizes for other things that all student wont miss out on. -Madiha

  3. I agree with perfect attendance awards to an extent however it can encourage sick kids to come to school instead of staying home and getting better.I think it would not be fair to kids that are sick or have something important going on that day.So in my opinion kids should get a prize that are not for attendance but maybe kids in class that are well behaved so it will inspire kids to be kind, responsible, respectful, and hardworking.

  4. I agree with Perfect Attendance Rewards because students should be rewarded for being at school. And if you miss a day of school because a sickness, that is excused. And that student is rewarded a smaller prize than the other kids. Well that is not fair the student still gets a reward.

  5. I think we should get rewards for having perfect attendance because if you come to school everyday then you can know everything for that subject and we could get good grades on our tests and report cards

  7. No, I don't think students should get rewarded for perfect attendance. Because some kid's might take it seriously and go to school when there sick. So I think kid's who are sick should stay home instead of going to school and passing around germs to get a prize.

  8. I don’t think students should get awarded because if your classmate is sick then you could get sick and miss out! So you should stay home if you wanna stay safe from germs

  9. I agree with students being rewarded for perfect attendance. Why? Because it will motivate kids to attend school and not miss out on any work. This can help the teachers or substitutes because I have noticed that Ms Y or Mrs N sometimes forgets to do attendance. If the whole class is here they don’t have to worry about asking who is absent. Another way perfect attendance is good is because we are surrounded by our classmates and we can share ideas to help each other learn.

  10. I am in the middle. I have my reasons to why kids should go to school everyday, and I have my reasons why they shouldn't. My first reason (why kids should go to school everyday) is that it motivates you. When a kid gets told you will be rewarded with a prize for attending school everyday, most likely they will be motivated to go to school. There is friends, and art, and music, why wouldn't you go? But there are kids that don't choose if they are late or not. There are flu's, people. Once infected with a flu, the protector of that student might be worried about their child. So, for the sake of other children they should stay home. Once again, not the child's fault he/she got infected. So with my reasons, I just think there would be no prize at all. It isn't fair to the kids who can't attend school everyday 24/7. You might disagree for the prizes, YOU get. But think of the kids who are at home, sick, unable to attend school for that prize.

  11. I don't think Students should be rewarded for perfect attendance because What if you are really sick and you want to go to school to a prize. If they go will get other people sick then every body will be sick and nobody will go to school

  12. No,because each student barely comes to school on time or each day. They might have gotten sick or in trouble from something they did. Their family might have some troubles with transportation.Or maybe they're taking a really big trip some where. They should only have a perfect behavior reward for students.

  16. I think that there should be no reward, because if you sprained a ankle or got really sick you should not be penalized for missing school. It would make some one feel really bad for something they had no choice in. Talbott

  18. I think students should be awarded for perfect attendance, because more students will go to school when they are supposed to. Also, students will be getting a better education because of going to school everyday.

  19. I think we should get rewards. We do it at our school and it has encouraged me to go to school. I don't think that we should stop it.

  20. I don't think there should be a reward for perfect attendance because some students could want the reward for perfect attendance, but then they get sick and then they don't get the reward for perfect attendance. Some students could push themselves go to school when they are sick, and they could spread the sickness. There could also be some students that really want the reward, but they need to celebrate a religious holiday or someone in their immediate family dies and they have a funeral, or anything along those lines, and they still don't get rewarded because of them being absent for things that they need to attend. In conclusion, think that students shouldn't be awarded for perfect attendance.

  21. I think students should not be rewarded with perfect attendence. The reason I think that is because sometimes if a student stays home it's a lot better when they're sick but if a student goes to school when you're sick they can make other students sick and that would not be good.
